ކުވައިތު ފަންޑުން ރާއްޖެއަށްދޭ ލޯނު އެހީގެ މިންވަރު 10 މިލިއަނުން 40 މިލިއަން ޑޮލަރަށް އިތުރުކުރަނީ

ކުވައިތު ފަންޑް ފޮރ އަރަބް އިކޮނޮމިކް ޑިވެލޮޕްމަންޓް (ކޭއެފްއޭއީޑީ) އިން ރާއްޖެއަށް އަހަރަކު ދޫކުރާ ލޯނު އެހީގެ ލިމިޓް 10 މިލިއަން ޑޮލަރުން 40 މިލިއަން ޑޮލަރަށް އިތުރުކުރުމަށް ނިންމައިފިއެވެ.

މިކަން ހާމަކޮށްފައި ވަނީ ތ. ވޭމަންޑޫގައި އަލަށް އިމާރާތްކުރާ ހޮސްޕިޓަލް މަޝްރޫއަށް ފައިނޭންސް ކުރުމުގެ އެއްބަސްވުމުގައި ސޮއިކުރުމަށް ބޭއްވި ރަސްމިއްޔާތުގެ ތެރެއިން، ދިވެހި ސަރުކާރާއި ކުވައިތު ފަންޑާ ދެމެދު ބޭއްވި އިހުތިރާމުގެ ޒިޔާރަތުގައެވެ. 

މި ބައްދަލުވުމުގައި ކޭއެފްއޭއީޑީ އިން ވަނީ 2027 ވަނަ އަހަރުން ފެށިގެން މި ބަދަލު ގެނައުމަށް ނިންމާފައިވާކަން ކަށަވަރުކޮށްދީފައެވެ.

The Government of Maldives and the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) have signed a KWD 3 million (approximately USD 9.7 million) loan agreement to develop a modern, fully equipped 50-bed hospital in Th. Veymandoo, strengthening access to quality healthcare across Th. Atoll. The agreement, signed by Minister Zareer, and KFAED Acting Director General, Mr. Rashaid A. Al-Bader, marks the Fund's 15th loan to the Maldives and its first investment in the healthcare sector. During a courtesy call following the signing, KFAED confirmed its decision to increase the Maldives' annual country loan limit from USD 10 million to USD 40 million starting in 2027, following the discussion on the sideline of the AIIB Annual Meeting 2026, and expressed interest in supporting the Thilafushi port development project, further strengthening the longstanding development partnership between the two countries. @KuwaitFund

މި ނިންމުމަކީ އޭޝިއަން އިންފްރާސްޓްރަކްޗަރ އިންވެސްޓްމަންޓް ބޭންކް (އޭއައިއައިބީ) ގެ 2026 ވަނަ އަހަރުގެ އަހަރީ ބައްދަލުވުމުގެ ހަވާސާގައި ދެކެވުނު ވާހަކަތަކާ ގުޅިގެން ނިންމި ނިންމުމެކެވެ. މީގެ އިތުރުން ތިލަފުށީ ބަނދަރު ތަރައްގީކުރުމުގެ މަޝްރޫއަށް އެހީތެރިކަން ފޯރުކޮށްދިނުމުގެ ޝައުގުވެރިކަން ވެސް އެ ފަންޑުން ވަނީ ފާޅުކޮށްފައެވެ.

މި ބަދަލާއެކު ދެ ގައުމުގެ ދެމެދުގައި އޮތް ޒަމާންވީ ތަރައްގީގެ ގުޅުން އިތުރަށް ބަދަހިވެ، ރާއްޖޭގެ އުމްރާނީ އަދި އިޖުތިމާއީ ތަރައްގީގެ މުހިންމު މަޝްރޫއުތަކަށް ބޮޑެތި ކުރިއެރުންތަކެއް ލިބިގެންދާނެ ކަމަށް މާލީކަންކަމާއި ސަރުކާރު ކުންފުނިތަކާ ބެހޭ ވުޒާރާއިން ވިދާޅުވެއެވެ.
